The Dada Da Restaurant will be equipped with objects and works of DaDa Da Academy, which react to each other to create a singular DaDa Da experience.
An open call will be distributed to previous DaDa Da participants to develop and contribute works for the interior of the restaurant, such as tables, chairs, tablecloth, lambs, dishes, napkins, wallpaper, etc. Some pre-existing works by DaDa Da artist will be used for the restaurant furniture’s which are sculptural objects as well functional furniture.
The DaDa Da “Manihesto” composed of 8 languages is planned as the booth wallpaper and presents the various mother tongues of Dada Da Academy artists and their parameters in art.
In addition, DaDa Da Academy plans to produce a multi-lingual newspaper for fair visitors. A video/sound art/music/ poetry program can be observed at the restaurant with headphones which will be hanging down from the ceiling above the tables. The DADA Da Restaurant contributions by different artist pidginize and syncopate together in a unique visual/lingual/musical-structure.
The DaDa Da Restaurant is set-up as a contact zone within Art Athena. The visitors can take a seat, talk to each other, have a drink, eat some appetizers and observe the DaDa Da newspaper and the collection of video/sound art/music & poetry by DaDa Da Academy.
